Day 1
Arrive in Yangon and transfer to hotel. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. Start visit to downtown sightseeing include; Sule Pagoda to take a photo shot for a panoramic view of city, Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument, have a memorable scene of Colonial Building, After lunch, visit Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha. Early evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda (Land mark of Yangon) – 2500 years old the world famous stupa having a beautiful sun-set. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. Sightseeing Bagan by visiting: NyaungOo Market; Shwezigon Pagoda – the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built bu King Anawrahta; Ananda Temple – King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture; KyansithaUmin; Thatbyinnyu Temple – the highest building on the Bagan plain; and Htilominlo Temple – the largest temples of Bagan. Evening visit to Lacquer-ware making home cottage; Manuha Temple; MyinkabaGubyaukgyi Temple – known for its wall paintings depicting scenes from the Jataka; and Dhamanyangyi Temple. Evening, sunset view of Bagan from Bupaya or Shwesandaw Pagoda. Dinner with Puppet show at Nandar Restaurant famous in Bagan. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Myinkaba village and observe the process of traditional lacquer ware, one of the best-known Myanmar handicraft and a specialty of Bagan. Visit the monuments of Myinkaba village, Gubyaukkhi, an early period Pyu-style temple of Hindu influence with some of the oldest mural paintings in Bagan, Manuha and Nanpaya temples. In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to the countryside village of Minnanthu, the least visited temple area in Bagan. Observe the local farmers‘ way of life together with a visit to some of the most interesting temples such as Payathonzu, with its unusual architecture and Tantric Buddhism influence, Lemyethna and Nandamannya temples. Back to hotel and take a rest. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 4
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. Meet & transfer to hotel. After check in hotel, sightseeing Mandalay to Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Mahagandaryone Monastery for offering alm food to thousand of monks, U Bein Bridge, Tapestry works; Wood carving & bronze castling workshops; Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage. Lunch at Golden Duck restaurant with Chinese Food. After lunch, Continues visit to : Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery – noted for its exquisite wood carvings; gold leaf beating workshop; Atumashi Monastery; Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world biggest book and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel departure for a full day trip to the former capitals of Amarapura, Ava and Sagaing. The day begins with a visit to the 18th century capital, Amarapura where the country’s largest monastery, Mahaganda Yon Monastery, is located. Continue to the 200 year-old U Bein Bridge, constructed entirely from teak and a silk weaving workshop. Proceed to Ava, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries and visit by horse and carriage the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace and fort. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon cross the bridge over the Irrawaddy River and continue to Sagaing. Covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing Hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centers. Overnight in Mandalay
Day 6
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for Heho. Upon arrival at Heho airport, from Heho, enjoy a scenic drive to Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s best-known sights. The Intha people, a tribe of Mon descent, mostly inhabit the lakeshores and floating villages. On arrival at NyaungShwe village, transfer by boat to start a sightseeing tour of Inle Lake including a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Lunch at Nang Pan Floating Restaurant with Chinese Food. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. There are also floating villages like Ywama, the lake’s downtown, where a floating market is held every five days. In the afternoon continue to PhaungDawOo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and the jumping cat monastery. Check into hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Inle Lake
Day 7
After breakfast, transfer by boat to NyaungShwe jetty and proceed to Heho airport for Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon international airport, meet and transfer to restaurant first. Then just a visit Myanmar Plaza shopping mall. Afternoon visit free time shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) Market, bustling China Town, where one can enjoy local street food. Dinner at Locat restaurant & Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
Day 8
After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure before send off to airport for onwards flight
